Right on, Mare! Not that you needed to tell the ignorant ones your business, but right on! You and R, from what I read (lol) are perfect together. Forget what people say or think and do you! You guys have lasted longer than some marriages, forget relationships! You two will be just fine...and I know R will wife you up anyway! :)

I think I want to be engaged more than I want to be married, AT THIS POINT. That's not to say that won't change but I mostly just want a pretty ring and R to get down on one knee. R, on the other hand, doesn't understand getting engaged just to get engaged when you don't fully intend on following thru with the marriage... he's got a point there. LOL

I actually had to count back because it doesn't seem that long, but we met in the summer of 2004. DAMN that's a long time ago. Lol The nice sailor I talked to a couple weeks ago at the gym said if you make it out of the military with your family intact, that's all that matters. And that's all I'm trying to do, keep my family intact. The rest is just details.

7 years?? Damn, Gina, I can't believe that! I "knew" you before R!! You two probably put more work into your relationship than anyone, and you still make it with love and support to spare. You guys rock together, and anyone else who says differently can take a flying F.
